“Hidden Trails” – Off-Road Journey to the Ancient Chestnut Trees

A monthly experience designed for those who want to explore the wild and unspoiled landscapes of the Val di Lima, among forests, plateaus, and ancient chestnut trees, true green giants that tell the story of this land.

The tour starts from our base in Livizzano, where you can choose the Yamaha vehicle that best suits your spirit of adventure: Yamaha MORO 07 mountain eBike, Yamaha Ténéré 700, or Yamaha Kodiak 700 quad.

The route follows gravel roads and scenic trails, crossing fascinating natural environments until reaching Monte Prato Fiorito, a remarkable location offering wide panoramic views over the valley. From here, the journey continues along a road immersed in a unique atmosphere, surrounded by majestic ancient chestnut trees, silent guardians of local history and traditions. The tour then reaches the Le Campore plateau, an unspoiled natural area ideal for a panoramic stop and memorable photos, before continuing towards the Orrido di Botri Natural Reserve, where a lunch break* is scheduled in one of the most impressive natural settings of the area.

After a well-deserved refreshment, the tour returns to the starting point, riding along the final woodland trails, bringing the experience to a close in true adventure style.

  • The Quad and eBike experience is suitable for everyone, while the Enduro experience is for those with intermediate driving experience. During the excursion, you will be accompanied by the Val di Lima Off Road Team.

  • Lunch: Lunch is available upon reservation at the reserve’s restaurant (fixed menu €15 per person, payable on site). After purchasing the tour, simply let us know if you wish to book the lunch.

  • Motorcycle riding gear and safety protection (available on request only for participants renting the motorcycle; riders joining with their own bike must bring their own equipment)

Requirements

Quad

  • Drivers: 18+ and have a valid driving license B
  • Holders of a non-EU driving licence must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP)
  • Passengers: min age 10 years and min height 1,40 m

Enduro

  • Drivers: 18+ and have a valid driving license A
  • Holders of a non-EU driving licence must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP)

eBike

  • Minimum age 10 years / height 1.40m
Important information
  • This activity is reserved for Val di Lima Off Road SSD members. The CSEN membership card is issued on site and is included in the price.
  • Participation fees include membership registration and third-party liability and accident insurance.
  • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 20 minutes in advance to allow time for safety procedures and briefing.
  • BAC Tolerance 0 for drivers. Breathalyzer on-site
  • The activity can be cancelled with at least 72 hours’ notice, with the right to a refund.
